J lightly tugged Jervis into the kitchen. “…eat all the candy you want…”
“Hi…” Jervis followed J into the kitchen, blinking. Then, he smiled and quickly stuffed a chocolate in his mouth. “What will he do if he catches me?”
“Absolutely nothing. Like I’d let him do anything.” J said walking over to a counter, and stepping on it, to get to a higher cupboard. He opened it. “…what kinda do you want?”
“Whichever. I…I’m not picky.” his face felt hot and he knew he was blushing deeply.
It felt so nice to be protected again…
J grinned at him, before tossing down a box of tea bags. “is earl grey alright?”
Jervis grinned back and nodded. “J…that sounds wonderful.”
He hopped off the counter, grabbing a kettle and such. He smiled at him. “..hey, you’re smiling!” J’s smile for once touched his eyes, something that hadn’t happened in months. He loved his smile.
Jervis giggled. “So are you!” he loved J’s smile as well, too large as it may have seemed to others.
He chuckled, before moving to fill the kettle with water, as he turned around, he couldn’t help but feel the scars on the one side of his face, before turning around to Jervis again.
He sat in a chair. “…so you’ve been sick huh? gotta build your immunity back up…”
Jervis nodded. “Quite sick…but tea will help with that.” He smiled.
“tea helps everything.” he said giving him a wink. “I learned that from a little blond englishman…”
Jervis blushed right to the tips of his ears. “Yes…I suppose you did…” he tried and failed to hide a grin.
he smiled at his expression. It felt nice. This felt nice, felt normal. Glad that jervis was back with him, he moved over to hug him.
His eyes flicked over to the kettle as it started to whistle. Letting Jervis go, and going over to it.
Jervis relaxed into his arms, for once in his life cursing the kettle as he was released.
J chuckled quietly, going over to pour it into a teapot and setting the bag in.
he hummed quietly.
Jervis watched him, smiling softly to himself.
